Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of event organizers, the North American Endurance Challenge Series has been forced to postpone its participation at the Western Endurance Racing Championship event at Buttonwillow Raceway on Saturday, April 14.
A Test Day session may be added to the schedule and will be announced in the near future.
The NAMEC Series is open to all FIA homologated CN and C3 class sportsracers, as well as all "purpose-built" CSR, DSR and SR2000 prototypes that meet existing SCCA or similar specifications, with the exception of chassis that were converted into sportsracers from Formula Atlantic or other similar open-wheel race cars. The former group will compete in the "CN/C3" class, and the others will race in a separate "SR" Class that will compete for its own separate championship within the existing NAMEC events.
To obtain a set of rules and regulations, or more information on the North American Modern Endurance Challenge, visit the Series website at www.modernendurance.com or contact Andrew Campbell and Edouard Sezionale via e-mail or telephone as provided in the "Contact Us" section of the site.
